I don’t normally post about food or recipes but with Super Bowl Sunday just two days away, I couldn’t resist. Truth be told, I actually really like football. I prefer to watch college games but I still have a soft spot in my heart for a few NFL teams and the San Francisco 49ers happen to be one of them. Having grown up watching them with my grandparents, I’m always happy to see them do well and since our Chargers have been out for a while now, the Niners are the second best thing.

If I had it my way, I would RSVP to super bowl parties based on the menu. After all, it’s one of the only days a year I feel absolutely zero guilt about consuming all the chips, hot wings, and fat-laden dips my stomach can handle. Since I won’t be partaking in the Super Bowl drink of choice this year, I am very much looking forward to filling my plate with some good ole’ American classics. So if you’re hosting a game viewing party this Sunday, here are some tantalizing recipes to keep your guests happy and full.

Seriously! I could eat mac and cheese everyday I think. In a world where there is no such thing as cholesterol of course ;-)
