Today’s edition of Weekend Musings is very special to me because I am sharing some pretty big news in my life. I am so thrilled to announce that my husband and I are expecting our first child. We recently found out we will be welcoming a baby girl this May and we couldn’t be more excited!
Over the past few years, I have watched many friends and bloggers go through the process of decorating their first nursery and I can’t wait to start working on ours! So in addition to the many house projects I will be sharing with you this year, I will also be highlighting the inspiration and design process as we create our new nursery. I will be working on putting together an inspiration board on Pinterest, so if you’ve worked hard on making a chic nursery for your little babe or know of one you think I should see, please let me know!
Here’s what I’ve been reading this week:
- If I could eat goat cheese right now, I would totally whip up this roasted pumpkin and goat cheese frittata with arugula salad from Naturally Ella.
- I love Jenny’s revamp of her vintage Baker sofa with some pretty green velvet and a contrasting dark teal welt.
- This DIY weaved artwork from The Red Thread would be a perfect project to frame for my master bedroom!
- Jamie from Crafty Scrappy Happy is getting me in the mood for Valentines crafting with her sweet heart embellished candle.
