If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably know that I was debating on whether or not I should go back for the twin brother of the ceramic elephant I scored last week. It didn’t take more than a few minutes of staring at that lonely elephant to decide he could not be happy in my home without his twin. So back to the sale I went. Best decision I ever made. Not only was the elephant marked down to $34 (from $100), but I also found the most beautiful piece of furniture I have ever seen at an estate sale. This stunning green cabinet was beckoning me to make room in the trunk of my car. Priced at just $89, I wanted to purchase and bolt before I spilled the beans that I would have paid at least four times as much.
The green color isn’t the best fit with my existing decor but I love it so much, I can’t bring myself to change it. Besides, I get antsy having the same color scheme for too long so maybe this piece will inspire my next redesign. The cabinet does need a little TLC here and there but overall it’s in pretty good shape.
