This morning while perusing Design Taxi, I learned of a talented artist named Erika Iris Simmons and just had to share. In her Ghost in the Machine series, Simmons uses recycled cassette tapes to pay homage to famous musicians. Inspired by the works of other great artists like Ken Knowlton and René Magritte, Simmons discovered this unique form of composite art after pulling out the ribbons of tape and playing around with the shapes.
