One of my favorite homes featured in the Dwell on Design House Tours this year is the Canon Residence, located in Pasadena, California. Originally built in 1959 by Case Study House architects Buff, Straub & Hensman, the mid-century home was first known as the Thompson Mosley House. More recently, the home has undergone renovations by Space International to create a new “interior core”. In this stunning remodel, the architects were mindful of sourcing natural materials that compliment the existing wood elements of the home.

Hi Sarah. So glad you stopped by my blog and left a comment, because now I’ve found your blog. And I love what I see! Especially this house!! I have a soft spot for mid-century modern. The color palette is so calming in this home and I love how open it is. When can I move in?
