The Chalk Tablet is the perfect solution for those looking to throw away piles of post-its in favor of a more eco-friendly way to jot down notes. Made by the Husband and Wife team behind Peg and Awl, the smartly designed tablet is constructed from reclaimed wood and black leather. The couple sourced their wood from the discarded bleachers of a Philadelphia high school and use leather from World War II era spats, holsters and purses.
The tablets are available through the company’s Etsy shop for $22 each or $60 for three. Peg and Awl also sells stands for the tablets and offers custom stamping. I wish I had known about these before the holidays- they would have made great hostess gifts!
